No Unified Training Status = is LTE being left behind?

The latest round of firmware enhancements for Garmin wearables includes more advanced form of Physio True Up (https://support.garmin.com/en-US/?faq=EjPECQK58qA0xzJ5X74vm7) but the 945LTE is not one of the compatible devices. So garmin does this mean 945 LTE is being left behind, or will this watch get UTS (unified training status) like the 955 and 255 already have? This is an important question since it kind of forces the elephant in the room about LTE strategy.

Garmin has no LTE fitness wearable that can be a Primary Training Device. (See prior link for definition of terms). Have we reached the fork in the road where the all the running safety features (that 945 LTE pioneered) are left behind in current Gen products?
