I was always able to find out my distance of the tee or following irons shot but after the last update it just showed the distance to the green.

I think I was seeing this too, but honestly the amount of times I golf vs software updates and user flow getting in and out of Golf activity seems like the experience is different each time

At least one time I had it set so that I would shoot and get a prompt of what club I used after. I think the behavior change aligned with 7.07 beta but could have been somehow I changed a setting or started the activity differently.
