Informing the watch about alcohol consumption

Don't really know where to put this, but I've got a 945 LTE so here we go.

Considering the absolutely huge impact that alcohol consumption seems to have on HRV - would it be an idea to be able to "tag" a day, evening or timeslot with alcohol consumption? Obviously the physical effects are real, and the watch will probably want to act on it with regards to recommendations, but it seems that knowing the reason for a day or two of reduced HRV could still be beneficial to informing the algoritms. For example knowing that a tanked weekly average is due to some drinking in the weekend might mean that some extra rest is good, but not necessarily mean that you are actually overtraining as a trend.

  • That'd be super handy, I’d really like to have that. It seems to me that if they introduced such a function in the next software updates, then it would be possible to make more informed decisions regarding training and recovery. After checking out https://papersowl.com/examples/alcoholism/ I ended up getting a smartwatch that tracks health stats and started working out. I never really thought that having a couple of beers a day was considered alcoholism. Now I try to drink a lot less, but it still happens. It’d be great if I could track that in my workouts.
