Went on a run that was a HR Z3/Z4 effort run, but not an all out effort. Finished and the Max. HR Adjusted screen popped up and showed that the Default and Running HR had decreased (down arrow). Can the max auto detected HR actually decrease?

My watch also updated maxHR (+1) after an bike ride categorized as base. I hit 169 as maximum hr in that workout but somehow the watch decided to adjust my maxHR from 184 to 185. So the algorithm seems to be more complex than just saving the highest hr ever measured and probably can also reduce your hr.
This seems to be new in 7.07 - at least i never experienced this before the update.
Yep, with the new firmware I saw my max HR decrease to a number much lower than a max I've seen 2 months ago. I just turned off auto max HR detection lol.
I think it's a bug. I set mine to 195 yesterday and today my heart rate never went over 152 and it set new max to 189

But for me it worked fine, no complaints. I had a calculated hrmax of 220 - age = 184 and it was updated to 185. reasonable.

It's a bug in 7.07. I always get the same number (176) as their "detection" after a run that never goes over 135. Seems like their "detection" is just fallback calculation from age that should not even trigger as I have manually set it to 180.
