The vertical speed is very strange - Software Version 6.04

Hello

The vertical speed is very strange since the software update and the data values are very high. In addition, the arrow does not show the correct direction (up/down) and after the bug fix, a +/- would then no longer be necessary in front of the value.

Could you please clean this up in the next software update?

Hi Portugieser,

I have the same type of problem with a very high number as if the vertical speed was in millimeter/hour or something like that.

I just created a bug report in the beta-program

Same for me, Garmin support in France wasn't aware of this issue, and the two tickets for software support has been closed without action! Hopping Gilles.K bug report will be more efficient.

2) No, I no longer use the Forerunner 945 LTE to record activities until the problem is solved. Before this bug I also used it very rarely. Besides, I think that this is not necessary to solve the problem on the device.

I added this data field in my walk profile. Today on a 1mi walk on completely flat terraine the watch displayed a VSPD of 11811 and then seconds later -23622

Hello
I updated my watch on the software Version 7.07.

I was checking the menu and under Settings > System > Format -> Units, you can change the unit of the vertical speed.
I change to meter/second and after rehanged to meter/hour and now the value of the vertical speed seems ok.

I just tested on a climb of a few meters so I can not garantie about the exact value because now it seems correct.

Seems to be working with v7.07.
