Description
Selected workouts are cancelled when the user selects a course in the navigation sub-menu. Since workouts are typically selected fist (through the daily workout or planned workout features) it is very easy to accidentally start a run while the selected workout is not activated.
To reproduce:
- Start a run (I only tested this with runs, but I'm assuming it also occurs for other activity types)
- Select a workout in any way (Training > Workouts > ..., or accept the suggested workout when starting the run)
- The workout is now "activated": custom data screens are visible and the workout will start when the run is started.
- Select a course to run (Navigation > Courses > any course > Do course).
- Expected behaviour: Both the workout and the course are activated.
- Actual behaviour: The workout is now no longer activated, the course is.
- Expected behaviour: Both the workout and the course are activated.
To work around this issue, select a workout after selecting a course.
In spite of a workaround being available I'd argue this is still a serious bug for users who often run with navigation features. I have accidentally deactivated planned workouts by selecting a course multiple times.
