[SOLVED] BUG: After almost every other running activity the watch claims I made a new record for a 1 km time. But that is untrue.

The records for 5 km and 10 km are shown correctly (and also synched with the Garmin Connect App).

But the watch also shows 1 km records after the end of a Running activity. But there's a problem here:

The 1 km record is not synched to the Garmin Connect App, because the Garmin Connect App does not know 1 km records, it only knows 5 km, 10 km, Halfmarathon and Marathon records.
Most confusing: Next time (next Running activity) it shows another alleged(!) "1 km record", although the time is worse than last time. It shows a new 1 km record almost all the time, NO MATTER IF IT IS REALLY A RECORD OR NOT.

Not a very severe bug, since I just ignore this record hint. But irritating anyway.

Garmin should first fix all the OTHER many severely annoying bugs in Forerunner 945 LTE before implementing new features.

Garmin Connect shows records (personal best) also for 1k and 1mile. Also, you need to confirm manually, if not it will disregard that personal best

You have to accept the record in the app. It's very misleading (it took me a long time to figure it out) but it's a common behaviour of all garmin watches

I always accept all displayed records. it works for 5km and 10km, but not for 1km.

Not in my Garmin Connect App. It shows all personal best DESPITE 1km. See the screenshots (sorry, German - "Laufen" means "Running"):

I always confirm all personal bests when I get them shown. To no avail :-(

Does your App really show a 1 km best? Or is it hidden in a different menu than what I show here?

Thanks - that's it! Seems I fell victim to "the power of the default". The 1 km was not displayed by default and I somehow overlooked the "edit" button.
