Live Event Sharing wont stop sending sms

Live Event Sharing continues to send sms every kilometer even though I changed the settings in the app and turned off the function completely.

I see both in the app and on the watch that Live Event Sharing is set to "off" but I still receive text messages with info every kilometer during an ongoing activity.

Have also tried to change the trigger from sending every kilometer to, for example, sending every 5 kilometer or every 20 minutes, but the changes does not have any effect.

I have started and stopped new activities but it is still the same result.

I find the app settings seem to not always (I’ll say actually quite rarely) take effect on the watch as desired for Live Event Share.

The on/off switch and status shown on watch seems to be the source of truth (at least for me).

Luckily the watch UI can be used to turn it on and off, however if you want to change settings (triggers, message content) you’re stuck with the app which so rarely gets its settings to the watch correctly.

Even on the watch itself the Live Event Sharing is turned off..
