Garmin 955 is out

interesting that Canadian listing of Solar  is available in 7-10 days but 3-5 weeks for US store.

More interesting as I quote DCR : The Forerunner 945 LTE will also gain all of those features, and also, look to the beta program very shortly for that (the fact that it’s getting everything is massive).

This totally changes my perception of the 945 LTE as being forgotten from the jump. Of course it’s a little concerning that there’s no LTE variant, but this is super exciting. 

So?   Buy a 945/ LTE for $200 off.

If you are considering the LTE and you lap swim, see if the new FW fixes all the swim bugs and to a lesser degree GPS accuracy while running/biking. Otherwise go for the 945 non LTE version.

Not absolutely all features. I won't expect multi band for example 

It won’t for sure since multi band is hardware related and the 945 LTE have different GPS chip than fenix 7/955/255

Are you sure it doesn't have the same GPS chipset?

Notably, DCR mentioned the 745 and newer had notably better GPS accuracy than the 945, Fenix 6 series and etc.
