Weather widget keeps dropping off

I'm a new Garmin user. Weather data does not update (watch will have a weather reading from several days ago). I use GPS when I run so watch getting gps regularly. What is wrong?

Agree with Luca that you need to connect the watch to your phone to update the weather information. I've suggested to Garmin that it would be cool if the weather widget could be updated when you synchronize the watch using the LTE connection (especially useful for those of us who use our watches without connecting to our phone). Perhaps if enough of us ask it is something they can consider adding.

Thanks guys. The problem is that I do connect the watch to my phone, several times a day, at least. Not sure why it loses the data for the weather specifically. Everything else stays in sync just fine. If I restart the watch, weather come back but I don't want to do that every day !
