Another error in the 945 Lte

The automatic calibration in the activity does not work correctly. I did a race with an official 550 m of elevation and my 945 lte marked 680 m.

Make sure that your watch is really, really clean.

I've fixed my elevation issues with daily cleaning. I use an ultrasoft toothbrush and soap to gently clean the device. The barometer is extremely sensitive and will sample bad data the more contaminated it gets. That's the only way to "fix" elevation errors.

Thanks for the tip. Do you clean a specific area of the watch to keep the altimeter/barometer working properly? Or do you do clean all of watch and band everyday? TIA

I clean it every day! The entire watch is thoroughly scrubbed with soap and water. It definitely helps. Like you, I too was frustrated at the altimeter, but it really is that sensitive.
