After running a very hilly outdoor run my treadmill pace gets really off.
My treadmill pace after running a flat outdoor course is usually fairly close to reality +/- 10%, I'd say, but after doing a very hilly outdoor run last weekend my treadmill pace is suddenly off by 40-50% (which equates to the pace I could hold on the hilly course).
I know that the treadmill algorithm bases its pace on recent outdoor runs but it seems like the algorithm doesn't account for how hilly the previous run was.
It would be nice if it was possible to choose whether a run shall be included in treadmill calculations or not.
Or, is there any other way around this (except doing a fast run outside for calibration purposes)?
