Down button is getting into a squished/stuck state constantly

Just this past week, I've started to notice my down button on my Forerunner 945 LTE getting into a squished/stuck state. It's very frustrating. Has anyone else had this problem with their watch? I keep my watch very clean and primarily use it for running. In fact it's never dirty at all. So I can't see how this could be environment related. On a new watch like this, I'm really disappointed. I just emailed Garmin Support.

Yeah happened to my 245, both 945s, 745 and my 945 LTE. I rinse after every run cold water, never press under water, never swam with them, never got them dirty.

The only thing I have done is sleep in them, maybe they get stuck from being pressed in whilst sleeping or linen gets in or dust or body oils no idea.

If it gets stuck try running it under cold water and pressing the button 20 times.

I buy my 945 in july 2021, and i noticed the moshy buttons, but dont do anything because it works. But when i go to the store and try the button on a new 945 in demonstration i knew m’y watch was not ok. I call garmin Canada support, very good service by the way. M’y new watch will arrive monday and after that i return m’y old one. (Sorry for My english)

Garmin had me RMA it. Hope to get the replacement back next week.

Got the replacement today and buttons are good.

glad to hear this update. hope they will stay good. my first unit had horrible buttons. my 2nd is much better.i can't say they are perfectly smooth but as good or better than my 935 which last over 4 years, so i'm content.
