I'm italian and have a 945 what is very good for me. For tracker I use a little tracker GPS with an italian SIM. I want buy LTE version, but there is this stupid think that don't support my country until now (and there is not news about it for the future...). 945 LTE use eSIM, so it's only a firmware problem for change it with an eSIM from other any country. I don't need Garmin service, but only a simply function that I can contact with a message my family and send a position if I have problem. ù
There's anyone that tried to change firmware for solve this simply and stupid thing? Why there are only some privilege nations that can use LTE version? For same think, with my GPS tracker, I spend 36€ (40$) every 2 years, very less that Garmin that I don't need and that there isn't in my country if I want it.
Please, dear Garmin, change it with new firmware...
