Widget available during an activity

Hi
I have a brand new 945LTE that I already upgraded to the 4.16 version.

I have a strange behavior, when I start an activity and can start only 1 time 1 widget (non Garmin / 3rd party widget)
After it is not possible to start any "non Garmin" widget. (the same or another 3rd party widget)
I receive the message that it is no possible to start it during a record activity :-(

I need to reboot the watch and I have back access for 1 launch.
I didn't have this issue with a 935 (with same widgets)

Do you have also this type of problem on this version or on the older version ?

    i can't speak to your specific issue as i don't use any swidgets that "start." but i can attest to the fact that the behavior of the watch during an activity, with regard to widgets is not the same as it was with my 935. 

    while in an activity, if i use a hotkey to see the watch face and widgets, the GPS will turn itself off and stop logging (the activity will continue, but not GPS information is recorded or received). i've written to Garmin support about it and they said that this was functioning as it should. when i pushed back and said my 935 didn't do that, they claimed their in house 935 behaved like the 945 LTE and i should provide evidence of other devices that did it the way i expected it to (keep the GPS logging). i crowd-sourced responses here and on Reddit indicating other users of 935,945, and Fenix that have the GPS logging while using a widget during and activity, and i never got any follow-up response from Garmin support. :\ 

    i can verify this problem still exists in 4.16.

    It is my bad English ;-)

    When I say "start" for the widgets, I would like to say "open" to "full" screen" (click on the start button)

    I will check this GPS problem during the activity when we go to the watch face and open also a support ticket.

    On your 945LTE, can you open a "non Garmin" widget during an activity ?

    i will have try for you when i get the chance. i am actually only using one non-Garmin widget right nw.

    I confirmed. I also get the message that I am unable to open or run it while running an activity :/
