945 lte Screen colour

Hi,

I got recently my first Garmin watch.

I have a concern regarding the screen quality. My screen seems to have a slight blueish background. I have not noticed when I watched test on this watch. I just wanted to know if it is normal.

Is this with backlight on?

No it is off. I watched video on Garmin site and definitely I have the impression there is no this blue color.

I just checked my F6X. Depending on viewing angle and direction of light source, the display background is either pitch black or has a slightly blue-ish / gray-ish tint. So I think there's nothing wrong with your display.

i agree with what tmk2 says. background color depends a little on lighting. but what i like about my 945LTE is that it's background is much 'blacker' than it was on my 935 and my friend's 945. it's not OLED contrast, but a significant improvement compared to the washed out light gray haze when using the backlight on the older watches.
