V02 max gage ?

i just noticed this today.

when i pull up the full widget for the VO2max it doesn't show any "location" on the dial. it shows the numerical value in the center but without any location/arrow/indicator on the color dial.

anyone else see this?

(i've reported this to Garmin but curious if anyone else noticed this)

Seems a similar behaviour as this one topic : V02 max gage ? (on my side I have the bar on running but not on the cycling one).

Mine shoes a little white tick marker for both standard (Running) and Cycling. FW 3.07

interesting. the only thing i can think of is i haven't been running the past month due to a back injury...yet it does show a value, and moreover, the watch has been smart enough to see that i'm running during my "walk activities" recently (PT told me i can run-walk-run-walk, etc.) and my V02max number changed by 1.

the marker shoes up fine on Garmin Connect App and it shows a mark in the mini-widget too.

For what it’s worth, I’ve been injured for running as well and haven’t had a run (or even jog) in 4 weeks now but have been indoor cycling with power recorded.

Good luck chasing it down :). Hopeful for a new beta / firmware soon as it’s been quite quiet on that front.

hope your injury recovery is making good progress.

as it turns out, my V02max readjusted itself yesterday and now it shows a white tick marker. i already sent a picture with the missing white tick marker to Garmin so they have something they will have to chase down. not an earth shattering bug. i too hope some of the other bugs are addressed with a new firmware in the coming weeks. (i'm a bit frustrated that support has gone silent after i've shown them evidence that people are able to continue logging GPS data on other watches while using the hotkey to go to widgets/watch face)

I have the same issue when the VO2 value does not come from the watch calculations. When my watch first sync'ed there were not bars neither on the running nor the cycling screen. After a first run wearing the watch when my VO2 changed, the gauge is not displayed with a thing white line.

Cycling which I do using an Edge do not have the gauge line even after the value changed a few days ago. I need to try cycling using the watch to confirm though this assumption.
