Automatically turning on backlight

Anyone else notice that scrolling through widgets after the 4th button press the backlight turns on. Even though backlight on key press is disabled. Seems like a bug or maybe intentional for some weird reason,?

a couple of us have noticed this when the heart rate widget appears on the screen...

i'm still awaiting 3.07 to become available to me to see if this fixes it. (i'm still on 2.10)

Still don’t have 3.07 either but can confirm it was NOT fixed in 3.05 beta so chances somewhat slim but maybe it slipped in?

To be clear, this is happening for me and I'm at 3.07.
