Charging port slightly different?

Switched from a fenix 6 to FR945 LTE and all my chargers (4 extras) don't work well with the 945. Some of them kinda work but feels like the one that came with it goes in slightly deeper...TWSS :) Anyone coming from the 945 or other Garmins notice this?

My 945LTE works with My 945 charger. Can't comment on the fenix 6.

I don't know but I sent the device to Garmin because the port failed 2 months after I bought. Several computers don't recognize it, but it charge correctly, always with the original charger. So, be careful.

I generally agree that it seems different in some way, although I've honestly had intermittent luck with this charge port design across a few watches. My wife's fenix 6 seems to be finnicky at times...

Still I feel like my 945 LTE provided cable works fairly consistently while a Garmin cable received with the fenix 6s Pro doesn't consistently charge, I almost need to gently put side pressure on it to allow it to work. Maybe something it a little loose or the pogo spring pins are sticking / not extending as far?

The standby battery drain of nearly 2x expectations combined with annoying charging cable compatibility stack to provide some frustration :)

And frustration is the way of sell the watch lol

For me, the best port charger in a Garmin was the one on Fenix 3. The port on FR945LTE, Fenix 6 and so on suck a lot.
