anyone running 3.05beta? any gotchas?

i know running a beta is subject to potential problems and i usually shy away, but i was advised by Garmin that they fixed the Notifications widget bugs in the beta and i was urged to try it out. (the bugs are: double tap/click often required to view a message and also, widget locking up watch (happened twice with my first watch but hasn't happened on my second watch)

i know one person had issues with false low battery warnings. anything else to be concerned about in joining the bleeding edge...

I didn't realize there was a new one, but I've been running 3.04 beta since last week and I haven't had any issues. I was having an issue with LTE spectator messages arriving late or not at all and it seems to have fixed that.

I tend to update to any beta that gets posted and for my use these normally seem at least as well vetted by Garmin as their production releases (for what it’s worth).

So far running 3.05 since I noticed it posted and haven’t seen any notable issues. At least a few of my quirky minor bugs seem before seem to be resolved too, so that’s a plus.

thanks for everyone's feedback. i may give it a whirl this weekend then. i recall doing a beta a while back with my 935 and was frustrated that it fixed some things and made new problems for me. all of my current bugs relate to non activity issues (except for the hotkey turning off the GPS when going to widgets/watch face) so i'm a little reluctant to go with the beta to fix nonessentials (notifications) if it's going to mess up my GPS activities.

Don't know if it' related to the beta (don't spend enough time with the 2.10 version) but i can't use more than one ciq data field. Whenever i try to add a second one, i've got the explanation point of ciq app and the second data field doesn't show anything, whereas the first one work flawlessly.

Sometimes the sensor hub crashes. The watch then doesn't find any sensors. It seems this happens when I try to add 2 CIQs to an app as data fields. After restart, the sensor hub works again.

i miss the HRV data from my Polar H10. I use runalyze and since the update to the beta no HRV data is visible there.

Probably not a bug,

I found a setting to activate the HRV markup
