How do you turn off widget glances?

I don't know what I am doing wrong but I cannot seem to figure out how to turn widget glances off - from Garmin owner's manual for 945 LTE it says the below but I do not see that option. Anyone know? Thanks.

Select Settings > Widgets.
Select Widget Glances to turn widget glances on or off.

i did get a prompt reply, but it's not what we want to hear:

On the Forerunner 945 LTE, turning off widget glances is not an available option. You do have the option to edit widget glances by removing or reordering them.

Regarding the manual, you are correct that it is not showing the right description of how to access widgets, and I will work on getting that changed.
