Unclear to me. Besides live tracking and what i believe that orhers tracking you can txt messages. If i get stuck while on a ride, can i txt to a set of emergency contacts to come pick up?

Yes, you can. You can send either a canned or custom message (not fun to type one out, but it works) to anyone who you have designated as a contact. They get a text message with your message and a LiveTrack link that allows them to see your location and send messages back to you. It's not really two way, they can send as many responses to you as they want but you can only send the initial message. If you need to send another message you have to cancel the assistance request and start another one.
