Optical sensor Damage??

Have any of you seen damage to the optical sensor similar to what is in the attached picture. I charged the watch just over a week ago and there were no crack, the watch has been on my wrist since then. The only reason it was off my wrist was to charge it and I noticed the marks. ciq.forums.garmin.com/.../1391464.jpg

If I remember well from previous discussions, there were some speculations about a faulty batch of resin cover glass used for the ELEVATE sensors. Best thing would be to get in touch with Garmin support by email and request an RMA.

The same just happened to my 935. I contacted Garmin Support and they are sorting out a RMA.

Agreed. I have got an RMA sorted for the very same thing. I am justv waiting for Garmin to get a re-supply of watches and i will send mine back. No issues in getting it agreed. Just described the back of my watch and the crack and the clouding on the snesor.

Yet still no UK supply of 935's! Been waiting four weeks now for Garmin to get stock in. Good job that at this stage, the issue with the OHR is purely cosmetic.

That's strange. I got a brand new one with all the tri straps within a week or so. Maybe I got lucky and got the last stock.

Where did you purchase it from originally? I had that issue and my retailer - Wiggle replaced the watch rather than Garmin.

Waiting on my new one coming from Garmin, hopefully it will arrive today, I did purchase it from Wiggle originally. It was just outside warranty period but they replaced it no problem.

I got it from Wiggle, but I have just found it easier to go to Garmin rather than from where I bought it. It is within warranty still, and this will be my 4th 935 since my original purchase in March 2017.
