I am sad to see the 745 no longer getting any love from Garmin. I understand that Garmin watches have an expiry date as soon as they are released. Newer models are developed, new features released, etc. Just seems to me the 745 was not given a very long runway which is a shame because I really loved my 745 while it was supported. Perfect size, nice feature set, good battery life.
In the end I moved on from the 745 because the elevation issue was not being addressed and I moved to the 265. Very happy with the 265, but I would have been happy to stick with the 745 had Garmin shown it a bit more love.
