I use my Garmin with broadcast HR mode so that my Concept2 PM5 can pick up the hear rate, but it seems to take a very long time for my watch heart rate to get anywhere near what I feel my real heart rate is.
When I use a chest band for this row, my hear rate hits 170-180 at the end of each internal, but on the watch it rarely gets there. It's like it is warming up or calibrating and ignores the spike in my HR when I do these intervals.
Then the Garmin doesn't log any load points as it thinks this was a low intensity exercise!
Any tips for how to fix this?
