it seems every time I finish a run no matter what the intensity my watch reads what I consider to be the incorrect training effect.
I’ve also been set to “maintaining” for the last few weeks even though my schedule is varied and would in the past have been “productive”
it seems there is also a discrepancy between what Strava considers the primary benefit of my run and Garmins training effect: see images for comparison between Strava and Garmin for same run: although I spent the majority of time in my threshold / max HR it seems Garmin has deformed my run to be a ‘Tempo’ despite being at my max capacity several times
