Altimeter accuracy cold season

Hi everyone,

I have had my FR745 for about 1 year. Already at the beginning I noticed that the altimeter at the beginning of the unit rose by about 10-15m in addition to or minus the real change in altitude on my running route. I then read somewhere on Garmin that temperature changes affect the altimeter. And of course, you get out of the warm apartment into the cold. That's why I accepted it, even if I thought it was stupid.

But now I have seen with two friends that they don't have this change in altitude at the beginning - despite the cold. One is the Fenix5 plus and one is the FR255S. Now that made me suspicious.

Now I would be interested from you, do your FR745 also have this initial change in height or is it a problem with my FR745?

 Greeting Ben
