I have had this issue for several weeks now so just wondering if anybody else has hit it.
The wrist HR is not working, as in the lights on the rear of the watch are not on despite the sensor being 'on' in the settings. Occasionally it will start working, perhaps 10% of the day, and may come on when starting an activity, but will then fail randomly.
I can get them to start working again by manually taking a Pulse Ox reading..then they will continue to work for 1-2 hours but then stop working again.
I have tried a factory reset and it hasn't helped.
Since the sensor is working some of the time, it seems like a software issue to me, so I am hoping somebody else has come across it and manage to find a solution
It means features such as body battery etc are useless as there is no consistent HR reading. I have a very old HR strap that I can use for activities.
Garmin support has offered to replace the unit..at a significant cost which is disappointing as the watch cost me a lot of money three years ago.
