My FR 745 did an automatic firmware update last week. Since then, when I record an activity on my Edge 530, the training status on the watch does not sync, nor is the the 7-day training load, nor the training focus.
The updated recovery time though, and the activity itself, do appear on the watch, as well as the total calories for example. So clearly some data do sync, but not those related to training status etc.
Those data do NOT update in the connect app either, when I view the relevant page for the watch. If I switch to the edge (in the app), the relevant data do appear.
I've tried syncying multiple times, over bluetooth and over wifi, with no success. I turned off and on again the watch, the app (also tried force close from phone's settings), no success.
The watch did sync only after doing a full reset. But only for once. If I record again another activity on the Edge 530, again the same problem.
The varius info shown and suggested on garmin's support page under the title "Why Is My Training Status Not Updating on My Garmin Device?" is entirely irrelevant in this case, because I've been using the 2 devices with no problems for a year now. The issue starting as I said after the last update of the watch, 1 week ago.
