Music control doesn't work

Just bought a new garmin forerunner 745 and i was trying to play some music on it when I was blasted by the music at the loudest volume.

I tried changing it by going into the music section and going into volume, but the volume buttons aren't working

Please help me with this as this was one of the main selling points of the watch, and garmin.

Yeah, it turns out that if your headphones or earbuds don't have volume control built into them, the watch can't change the volume, a round about way to do it is to connect the device to your phone, and then control your phone using your watch, so yeh, good luck
