Marathon training plan - recover run or rest?

I set a Marathon training plan and not sure what I suppose to do with the intervals... recovery run or rest (not run at all)? 

  • Yeah, this is confusing, but I'd recommend to do a slow jog, i.e. a recovery run. I think "Rest" in this context just means a period between intervals.

  • I agree it can be confusing especially because garmin has both step options (recovery/rest) when creating workouts. I always opt for recovery when I do suggested workouts or create my own but the choice is yours
