The firmware is still version 5.9,
which was uploaded on December 13th.
APAC users aren't the same Garmin users?
The firmware update is too late,
so I can't use some apps and functions I need.
I will never buy APAC version Garmin next time.
I paid a higher price but the service is the worst.
Still using very old and cheap processors, dividing the firmware in Asian languages is really outdated.
Apple or Huawei are cheaper, more accurate, and offer much better service.
Garmin is too expensive, heart rate accuracy is poor and sleep measurement is just the worst.
Worse than a cheap Chinese Xiaomi band. );
Garmin has already lost to Coros on Running Watch.
Coros has been doing a unified update common to all devices from several years ago.
They does not discriminate between updates by device price or release date or even languages.
And Coros and Polar already show their running power right on the watch.
Garmin will forced to sell its own products, such as a separate running dynamics pod, and finally release new product that shows running power next month.
Really truly outdated.
Garmin is making outdated new products and existing users' firmware updates are a mess.
Asian language device, APAC users don't even care. ;(
Worst after-sales service that makes existing customers who have already purchased the product an fool and continues to feel uncomfortable.
