When doing a structured swimming workout, I sometimes take a brief rest on the wall in the middle of a workout step. I've not had consistent success with auto pause, so I have that turned off. Instead, I use start/stop to pause or resume the workout. The problem I've found is after a pause, the displayed interval distance resets to zero. The watch does seem to keep correctly tracking the completed interval distance in "the background", and will buzz on the last length of the current interval distance. It just doesn't display the correct interval distance, so I don't know how far I have left to go until I feel the last length buzz.
