FR745 5.90 GPS issue

I'm located in APAC and upgraded to 5.90 a few days ago. I found version 5.90 running distance is not as accurate as 5.80, each time it's showing more than actual.

I did comparison with coros and Garmin Fenix 6 pro, running the same distance with both watch. For instance today I run 1h40min, F6pro shows 24.58km and FR745 is 24.73km. I did similar run a couple of times, every time FR745 has longer distance. Anyone has similar issue?

not sure if it related but I noticed today that the pace seems way out... did some basic intervals today and pace as shown on the watch did not match my own perception. Only just started running again after several weeks break due to covid so cant comment on the overal distance being different!

The issue is your F6 not the 745. The 745 has better accuracy than F6 which has worse than plastic forerunners.

How did you update GPS firmware to 5.90?

Fenix 6 distances are almost always too short.

Only APAC 745s can update to 5.90.
