Problem with altitude.

I have a problem with altitude, the first time went with the FR745 to run the watch showed in meter accurate altitude compared to topographic maps. The next day I read that it would be good to do an altitude calibration, I did it via GPS and then by entering the exact altitude at which am. After that, none of them showed me the exact altitude when running, there were mostly deviations of 15-20 meters. I reset the watch to factory settings but it didn't help. Now, compared to topographic maps, there are deviations of 15-20 meters. How to return it to its original state when it showed correctly?

Same here. I often get a 20 meters offset. The gps altitude is most of the time accurate.

What is the correct way to set altitude before starting a workout ?

I use topographic maps, try to turn it off auto calibration in altimeter setting.I also contacted Garmin support and they said that the weather affects the altitude sensor. It is best to manually enter the altitude before each workout, as far as I understand them.
