Options of 745

Sorry about my English, I use a tractor, I just bought a Rorerunner 745 and I don't see this in the manual: Is it possible to turn off HR and activate it only in the activities of swimming, running, etc. automatically? Is the screen always active or can it be turned off? Thanks

  • You can turn off the HR but I don't understand why you would. Having it on all the time allows the watch to give you things like body battery and helps sleep detection. HR on all the time also doesn't use much battery at all.

With the screen, it is always on because that is how it is designed. Again the screen doesn't use much power at all (especially if you use a watch gave that doesn't update every second).  You can adjust the backlight.

  • Thanks for the answer, in other brands of sports watches you can configure the fc so that it is activated only at night or during exercises, the rest of the day I don't need it and I think that battery could be saved apart from the fc all day That information does not serve me.

  • That's not how the Garmin display works. It is transreflective which means that it uses almost no power whatsoever - in fact it only use energy when it changes (which is why you can save battery by disabling the second display which updated ever second).

It's a very different technology to just about every other sports waych or smart watch.

  • ok, thanks and as for hc? if it doesn't consume much, I don't mind leaving it active all the time
