Anyone experiencing empty blocks of no data recorded during sleep tracking? What could be the cause?
Good morning,
There are several forums on the subject of sleep, it seems that Garmin is not concerned with sorting this out, the moderators don't even respond anymore. I'm not even talking about the stages, but about the precision of sleep time. A shame, it had a polar grit x and it was very good.
hi Canavez, thanks for sharing that. You're right, I've actually found a similar thread on the 245 forum.
I've just upgraded from the FR245 and I've never noticed these data gaps while using it. What I'm trying to understand here, is whether my new 745 has a hardware issue or it's just a matter of firmware bug.
This is not actually right. Watch was reading sleep data (accelerometer) but it did not record HR data.
On first sync it the morning you can see that sleep data are always present but then they are being send to Garmin server for some processing and if HR data are missing there are gaps in sleep.
There is only one way how to fix it - fasten your strap bit more so watch can take better measurement.

How do you know that? There's a huge gap in the "movement" graph as well.
