On my new 745, have followed all the advice and have tried disconnect and reconnecting my phone to strava, but still the data does not upload.
Any tips on what to try next or who to contact?

Hello Tia, the first thing I would try doing is manually uploading the file to Strava via a computer.
You might want to use the file uploader if you have rides on your computer that are no longer on your device or you have rides on Garmin Connect or another site that you would like to export and upload to Strava. You can upload files directly to Strava via our file uploader found here: http://www.strava.com/upload/select. You can upload the following file types as long as the file is 25MB or smaller and contains workout data:
To get the file, you'll need to export it from Garmin Connect:
Sign in to your Garmin Connect account from a personal computer
Click Arrow Icon in the upper left corner to expand the Navigation Bar
Click Activities
Click All Activities (Steps for Wellness Data)
Click the title of the activity you would like to export
Click the
in the top right corner
Select the format*
Save the file
That will confirm if the issue is communication between Garmin Connect and Strava, or if there is an issue with the file itself. If this is an issue effecting more than one activity it's almost always going to be a mapping issue between the two accounts. In which case I would follow the steps in this article.
