Pool swim distance accuracy

How do I improve the distance tracking accuracy during a pool swim? This watch is only new and distance recordings are all over the place. All the settings seem ok.

Hmmm interesting. In todays instance it was busy and I did have to switch strokes on a couple of occasions. Thanks for the comment
