He says it soon 6 months ago. This feature will become legend.

Time works different in the Garmin Update Universe, when they soon it takes 6 months, so soonish should  mean 12+ months?

What gives Garmin? Releasing Venu 2 with this feature at this point and not releasing it on any of the other premium watches (except fenix 6) is like rubbing salt in our wounds! 

Hope it is not something hardware related.

The difficulties of having them on older models while seeing this feature in Venu 2 implies that maybe there is some new chipset in newer models helping Garmin to implement this feature. This feature has been pending for so long that gives a sense the problem is beyond R&D resource allocation, maybe there was some kind of design flaw in the very beginning. 

I would assume (big emphasis on assume) that hardware would not be an issue as the whole point of Firstbeast algorithm is that it's hardware agnostic. So anyone can license their algorithm and put it on their hardware. If you go to their website there are 100s of smartwatches and activity trackers made by many manufacturers using the same algorithm. Of course it needs ot be modified but if Garmin owns the team now which created the algorithm optimizing it for a specific hardware, i really wonder how hard that is. So how much is technical difficulties vs. priorities!

i've installed the beta and have the widget... i guess i'm gonna have to ...hmmm sleep on it 

Yay, the new beta looks promising. All the venue 2 features are there. Let us know how it works out. Very curious but also cautious don't want to install a beta firmware on my main driver
