High battery drain shortly after battery recharge

This is a common issue for me, maybe that's the same for some of you.

Say the watch is on charge and reaches 100%. I then remove the cable and open the Battery Widget to let it know it's full on battery.
During the first 1-3 hours I always see massive battery losses, like 2-4%/hr, even though my average idle discharge is 0.33%/hr.
By leaving the watch attached on charge at least 15' after 100% the problem is partially mitigated.

Did you ever encounter the same issue?

I did. On the previous 645M. Ireturned debice because of some issues and new watch is OK. It reaches 100% and after disconnection it discharges normally abou 0.4%/hour.

Garmin, is there any guideline to decide whether to ask for a replacement or not? I bought it in May 2018.

What’s expected for the battery after a year of usage?

There are many threads on forum. Edit: my older thread of this problem no longer exists in new forum
I have this issues, I dont know it was a bug or ad hardware problem.

2 days ago I charge my 645 and I lost 20% in the first 10 hours... last 2 weeks I charged my watch and discharge time is 0,30 %/hr and battery last for more of 10 days (only smartwatch notifications no gps activity)

Yep, I've recently started getting the same issue. I haven't changed any settings. I'm actually not even working out these last couple of days and I've had to charge it daily! The entire battery drops to 7% by 5pm after I charge it to 100% at 11pm the night before.
