Hi - I got a new Forerunner 570 to replace my 245 (which was still working fine, just wanted a good AMOLED). Right out of the box, the heart rate readings have been inaccurate. Even at rest, it is routinely in the 85-100 range, which is a large deviation from my 245 and Galaxy watch 5. Even during runs, the HR is unreliable - and always on the higher side than what I have come to expect. This is not limited to activities, it is generally overestimating my HR.
Anyone faced this issue? I have tried - cleaning my skin, changing the wrist position, cleaning the sensor, resetting the watch, I have no tattoos, tried to see if it needed a break-in time, but no help. I have purchased it from Amazon US, but i stay in India - I do not know if warranty is supported internationally. I have an important Marathon coming up, so might just have to use my old Forerunner 245.
Grateful for any help. Feels bad to have a brand new device function like this.
