Forerunner 570 -- Software Version 15.33 Did Not Include Wireless V.29.22 -- Unit Stuck

My Forerunner 570 (purchased directly from Garmin) arrived today.

The unit initially paired and was functioning. After updating via Garmin Express, it is now stuck at boot with "Needs wireless v29.22."

Garmin Express reports system software 15.33 is up to date, but the wireless firmware never flashed.

The watch cannot enter pairing mode and cannot be set up or connect to Garmin Connect.

I’ve done a master reset and attempted to get the v29.22 update via Garmin Express. Garmin Express thinks everything is up to date. Doesn't seem to know that it is missing V29.22. 

I'm also frustrated that Garmin has zero support on the weekends. I already emailed them and waiting to hear back.

    I see you've been in touch with support about this and they're working with you toward a resolution. 

    For anyone else who may have this concern, please check for Software Updates on your watch under Watch Settings> System> Software Update. If everything is showing current, please either let us know or contact your local support team!

    Im currently experiencing exactly the same thing, however im on a Fenix 8, whenever I go to the software update on settings, it tells me to set up wifi through the Garmin app, but I cant update it because it requires the version v29.22, which when I try updating from the Garmin Express app, its tells me the watch is up to date and that it doesn't require any more updates.
