Firmware 12.70 causes my screen to shut off after a quater second of it powering on. Can still operate watch but screen stays off. How do I downgrade firmware or reinstall the firmware files?

Hello,

I updated my my FR570 to the 12.70 firmware on the 21st of August but immediately the screen will turn off after a quater second of it being on. I have to wait 10+ second and press the light button for the screen to come back on for a split second. I was able to navigate to the setting>about> hit light button 8 times and reinstall the firmware file on the watch which causes to screen to work perfectly while going through the update but then fails once it is complete. I have tried Garmin Express but that says im up to date. I've done a soft reset, hard reset, factory reset but nothing downgrades the firmware. I'm looking for the firmware file to hopefully download and manually transfer it to the watch but that is not working. Any ideas or help?

I have exactly the same problem. Try to put your Garmin near the window where he get GPS signal and after 15-20mins its magically working. I don't know why but it's works for a while.

Just some more information:

Watch still tracks daily steps, heart rate, etc shown in garmin connnect.

Watch works perfectly fine when connected to charger.

Screen is completely inoperable when "Always on display" is enable. No longer flashes whatever watch page I am on.

I tried this and went outside but sadly nothing. Even started a run activity and let it aquire gps via that. The only thing that get it to work properly at the moment is connecting it to a charger. Otherwise the screen is black and I have to, by memory, remember how to navigate the watch to activities and settings.
