Ghost touch again

Hello everyone,

I’m experiencing a persistent “ghost touch” issue with my Garmin watch, similar to what many others have reported here. I’ve already raised this problem before, and recently contacted Garmin support. Unfortunately, they informed me that they don’t yet have a solution. They are still unsure whether it’s a software or hardware issue.

My watch is only two weeks old, and I’m extremely frustrated because I recently sold my previous Forerunner to upgrade to this new model. Today, during my training, this ghost touch problem occurred, and it disrupted my entire workout.

I live in Brazil and bought the watch during a trip to the United States. If this turns out to be a hardware issue, I won’t even be able to replace my watch easily, which makes the situation even more stressful and disappointing.

I have a 42-kilometer race coming up tomorrow, and I’m heading into it with uncertainty about whether my watch will function properly or not. This is really concerning for me, especially at such an important time.

I just wanted to share my experience and hopefully get some attention from Garmin or other users who might have faced similar issues. It would be great if Garmin could provide some official feedback or guidance on what users should do in this situation.
