Breathing Variations

I noticed the breathing variations has stopped working. I saw on a Reddit post that this could be due to going to sleep after the designated time the watch is set to, it does not record the data. If you go to bed before the designated time, it is recorded. Is this true?

  • I tested it out last night and went to sleep before the designated time. Breathing variations populated so it does appear to be an issue with when you tell the watch you are going to bed. That's very odd and does not seem productive to miss data simply you did not go to bed as planned. If you go to bed before the time, it's fine, but go to bed after, and it does not work. What is the difference in going to bed before versus after? The two are one in the same yet Garmin considers them different? Sure hope this issue is addressed in an update.

  • Keep on pressing the light button (top left) until your watch shuts down. Then power on again by pressing same light switch for 3 seconds.
this will soft reset the sensor and then it should work after that.
