Battery draining quickly

Hi,my Garmin forerunner 55 battery switches off immediately when I start an activity but shows 100% fully charged when I put it on charger. What could be the problem?

    Morning.  also having similar issue after the latest update.  battery drains in 2-3 days with out any activities logged.

    Morning.  i have had similar problem with my garmin after the latest update.  battery drains completely after 2-3 of just wearing and 50% or so after an activity even if the activity doesn't include use of the GPS.  before update it was giving me 8-10 days of battery with 6+ days of tracked activities of about 1 hour on each activity. Cant understand how from one day to the next the battery capacity would be lost when the only thing different is the update.  i can accept it slowly loosing capacity which happened on my 45 and this one used to give me 14 days of active tracking.  But this is unusual.
