Walk Workout Decrease VO2 Max

I recently advised to stop running by my doctor because of injury and recommended to do power walking, but everytime i do power walk with walk workout, my vo2 max drop. Fyi, my heart rate during the workout is around 140. So Can anyone help with these issue? Why is this happening?

  • All these things are individual. My kids have 140 BPM during breakfast, for me it's zone 3...

    Besides it depends much on the settings of your zones, max HR, rest HR, weight...

    If you only care about the number you see in GC, then you can walk without GPS
