Hi, I have a Garmin Forerunner 55 but since I upgraded to Software Version 11.01 in November I have been experiencing various problems as follows: I experience random crashes two to three times day where the device will just power off. I have to switch it back on by pressing the "Light" and "Back" buttons at same time. I start a Run; I press the Start/Stop button; I select Run and press Start/Stop again and I wait for GPS Signal (the "Wait for GPS" screen). The device will crash and switch off when the red line gets to end just as its about to acquire GPS signal. I have to switch it back on by pressing the "Light" and "Back" buttons at same time I start a Run; I press the Start/Stop button; I select Run and press Start/Stop again and it goes to "Wait for GPS" screen. If I then press Start/Stop again before GPS signal is acquired the device will crash and switch off. I have to switch it back on by pressing the "Light" and "Back" buttons at same time. I have tried various forms of Reset to see if I can fix the problem such as : Delete All Activities Reset Totals Delete Data and Reset Settings Reset Default Activities I have performed the above actions multiple times and it has not fixed the issue. The device has not been damaged; has not been dropped; has not been immersed in water. These issues have only started since auto upgrade to 11.01 firmware. Has anyone experienced a similar issue and managed to solve it? (I have also emailed Garmin Support on this issue too). Many thanks in advance for any help anyone may be able to give

I'm having the same issues after the auto upgrade to 11.01. Going to Settings/About, GPS version is 0.00. Contacted Garmin Support and they said that they can replace my FR55 for a new one. Isn't it easier just to release a fix for that?

My watch recently updated to V11.01, now the screen freezes and does funny things. How does one do a rollback to the previous software version as I have Two Oceans race happening the following weekend.

Not so easy to roll back. You have to get the file(s) from someone.

I would try to see if it can be fixed. How did you upgrade it? Via Bluetooth or Garmin Express? If via Bluetooth then try connecting it to Garmin Express and let's hope it'll be able to fix it with a sync.

it seems every Garmin watch that gets PacePro has similar issue now, freezing, crashing, unresponsive, how about some Software Quality check before rolling out Garmin?
