Forerunner 55 update problems!

Since yesterday my Forerunner 55 is telling me every hour that there is a new update and ask to restart. Each time I accept and it is still doing that!

Anda now the GPS doesn't work anymore! It says I need to reboot the watch each and every time!

Anyone else with the same problem?

How to solve it? I reboot and and restart the watch several times already.

  • Sorry, I don’t understand.
I mean, I’ve just did a hard reset, so I erase everything inside the watch, and nothing changed: the watch keeps saying that “a update is available” every hour or so, and the GPS doesn’t work

  • Go to Garmin customer support. Especially if you still have warranty, but even if not

  • so I erase everything inside the watch,

The watch memory is 20MB not GB and the free space of 1.8 MB is not enough for the update.

Usually the space is spent on fit files with activity, deleting old unnecessary files in the Activity folder on 55 must be done by yourself, that's what I meant.

If the folder is not empty, it doesn't matter what reset you did, the free space is important.
